PCWHS Welcomes New Principal

In compliance with the issuance of Department of Education - Pasay City Division Circular No. 1355, also known as the Reassignment of School Heads memorandum, Mr. Agapito Teodoro N. Manaog assumed the role of School Principal at Pasay City West High Sehool (PCWHS) on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Mr. Manaog's background is impressive. He began as a Teacher I at Pasay City West High School and achieved something exceptional-becoming the only Teacher I to pass the principal's examination. He later held leadership positions in the following schools:
- Kalayaan National High School from 2019 to 2023 (starting as Principal ll and subsequently promoted to Principal IV)
- Pasay City South High School from 2015 to 2019 (Principal Il)
- Pasay City North High School - Tramo (now Pasay City National High School) from 2013 to 2015 (Principal I)
- Pasay City North High Schol - M. Dela Cruz from October 2011 to 2013 (Principal I)
- Pasay City North High School BASA from May to October 2011 (Principal I)
He embarked on his journey as a School Head by serving as the OlC Principal at PCNHS - Tramo from 2010 to 2011 and PCNHS - Cuneta Annex from 2009 to 2010. He previously held the role of a Science and Technology teacher at PCWHS.
His experiences significantly influence his leadership style, and his return holds great value for our school. Mr. Manaog's dedication to education and his prior roles are poised to bring a positive influence.

Schoolwide general cleaning
September 13, 2023
- The field is hereby informed of the schoolwide general cleaning of classrooms on September 15, 2023 (Friday). Shortened period shall be followed in the conduct of the said activity. Attached is the schedule of classes in all grade levels for reference.
- Section Advisers are tasked to inform their students to bring white shirt, rags, sponges, dipper, pails, mops, soaps, garbage bags, broomsticks, soft brooms and other cleaning materials. Zonrox bleach shall be provided by the school. In addition, Section Advisers shall supervise their students during the general cleaning.
- Photos before, during and after the activity shall be submitted by the Section Advisers to their respective Grade Level Coordinators. On the other hand, Grade Level Coordinators shall supervise the general cleaning in their respective grade levels.

The following are expected to accomplish:
- ceilings that are free from cobwebs,
- jalousies and window sills that are free from dust,
- walls and doors that are free from stains and dirt,
- Floors that are free from water spills, dust and dirt,
- blackboards and whiteboards that are free from marks and
- cabinets and trash bins that are free from stains/marks.
- Furthermore, Section Advisers are requested to conduct an inventory and accomplish the attached template. This shall be submitted to the Property for immediate action.
- Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
Homeroom PTA Meeting

We would like to let you know that tomorrow, September 16, 2023, there will be a meeting of the Homeroom Parent Teacher Association. An assembly will take place in the school's gymnasium before that, and then we can head to our children's respective classrooms for our HRPTA. Parents' participation is important and needed.
